Spring Notes:
Our first ever artist showcase in January at the Café Carlyle produced great results for our performing artists. Please look for our showcase again at the Café Carlyle in 2011.
We are pleased to announce new artist relationships with Karen Oberlin who will be performing at the Algonquin’s Oak Room in June, and the young jazz artist Ariana Savalas, daughter of the much-loved American actor Telly Savalas who is going to London to record her first album in May; and our renewed relationship with London’s West End star Maria Friedman who will be performing for our client at Kensington Palace in May. We recently sourced Arlene’s World Famous Rock & Roll –Live Karaoke band; a must see on Monday nights in downtown NYC at Arlene’s Grocery. They garner great audience appeal by playing live music from ACDC to ZZTop in support of the singer; which may-be-you.
Ashley Brown makes her debut with the Baltimore Symphony May 13 thru 15 and Ottawa Symphony May 19th thru 23rd. June 2nd thru 6th Ashley appears with Marvin Hamlisch and the Seattle Symphony to perform a concert version of The Music Man. Ashley Brown’s “Speak Low” album just released on Ghostlight Records continues receiving considerable airplay.

Our London based NYC 2009 Cabaret Artist of the Year Barb Jungr returns to the Metropolitan Room in May with her new "River" show. Barb’s “The Men That I Love” album USA release is May 11th.
