Fall Notes:

Our history of working with New York’s finest clubs continues as Loston Harris begins his tenth season at Bemelmans’ in the Carlyle Hotel September 14th with his effervescing trio to begin his tenth year. Barbara Carroll with Jay Leonhart begins again for her fourth season September 19th at the Algonquin’s Oak Room.

 

Also on September 14th, Paolo Szot will open at the Café Carlyle fresh after his Tony-winning turn in the hit revival of South Pacific; showcasing his dashing good looks, gorgeous baritone voice and charm. The fashionable team of John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey will follow in the Café Carlyle for a third season with their sophisticated styling’s of jazz and Broadway delivered with wit and personality. November will mark the return of Steve Tyrell to the Café stage featuring his seven piece band featuring romantic interpretations from the American Songbook that his loyal following demand.

 

Our London based NYC 2009 Cabaret Artist of the Year Barb Jungr travels in November from London to Cleveland, St Louis and San Francisco to perform for the first time, a don’t miss tour. "The Men I Love" album released in the USA in May is getting heavy play on jazz radio as it highlights interpretations of Springsteen, Simon, Cohen and other greats.

 

Eldar Plays Dizzy’s Coca Cola on September 13 with the famed jazz guitarist, Pat Martino – a pairing not to be missed. Eldar’s highly anticipated new album to be released on Sony this Fall as it will be his first solo piano album. Selections are being featured on his Brazilian trip following Dizzy’s and the basis for his upcoming European and Canadian tour.
