Emmy Award winning composer/pianist Earl Rose is one of the most versatile and prolific composers in film and television today. He is an Emmy Award winner and has received 14 Emmy nominations as well as three ASCAP Awards for being among the top five most performed composers in television. Among his compositions which have crossed over into major pop recording successes are the multi-platinum selling recording Every Beat of My Heart, co-written and recorded by Brian McKnight, and his Emmy winning song collaboration with Olivia Newton-John and Victoria Shaw, Love Is A Gift, which appears on both Olivia Newton-John’s quadruple platinum “live” recording, Highlights from The Main Event, as well as her studio album, Back With A Heart. Earl’s music has been featured on such television shows as Sex and the City, The West Wing, E.R., America’s Next Top Model and Real World. In addition to his composing, Earl maintains a busy live performance schedule. He is a perennial favorite with audiences throughout North America performing with his trio or ensemble, Earl Rose and Friends (piano, bass, drums and cello). Through his unique arrangements, he blends classics and contemporary standards, and his own compositions into a provocative and exciting program. His numerous guest symphony orchestra conducting and performance appearances have included the Jacksonville Symphony, Pacific Symphony, Corpus Christi Symphony, Asheville Symphony and Erie Philharmonic.
